Committees

Picture
Finance & Economics
The duty of the Finance and Economics committee is implicit. They are charged with the enormous task of devising fundraising projects in the interest of the organization. Their responsibility begins and ends with finding new ways to help the organization meet its financial goals.

Educational & Cultural
The task of the Educational and Cultural committee is to develop projects in that area. This, necessarily, involves devising programs that will enhance our cultural objectives. With an eye toward our minors, this committee will also seek to develop educational tools and programs that will encourage and enhance their learning process; bridging the gap between children here and at home.

Social & Health
Chairman - Dr. Ngozi Agwuna
The Committee on Health and Social Services is focused on the promotion of health care and derivative social services in Enugwu-Ukwu. It is probably the most important committee in our fold. It should come as no surprise to most that access to adequate health care, for a majority of our people, is severely limited. Consequently, the focus of this committee is to find ways to rejuvenate, or even resuscitate, our health care facility and its affiliated resources. The goal is to provide access to the many who currently have none. This committee has made several trips to Enugwu-Ukwu General Hospital and their input and contributions have been significant. They are currently working on improving the physical facilities available at the hospital.

Planning & Membership
Chairman - Mr. Innocent Okeke
For the Planning and Membership committee, recruitment and project planning will be their primary objective. Therefore, they will serve as our public relations’ gurus. These individuals will seek out nonmembers and encourage their enrollment. They will, periodically, revisit our membership policies, suggesting revisions where and when necessary. This committee also has the responsibility of project planning. In cooperation with other committees, the Planning and Membership committee will provide appropriate assistance in project planning, devising efficient execution procedures.
